about

Hi, I'm Tori, a performer and artist from Florence, SC! I was raised in a musical home, and was given voice lessons by my mom starting when I was 9 years old. I graduated from Anderson University in May 2021 with BFA in musical theatre. I had the opportunity to be in lots of mainstage shows while at school and my last (and most favorite) role was Dot/Marie in Sunday in the Park with George

I also have experience teaching theatre. During the summer of 2019, I acted as a teaching assistant at South Carolina Children's Theatre. I also just signed a contract to teach dance and movement to ages 2-5 with Little People's Creative Workshop in Greenville, SC and I'm so excited! Art is meant to be shared, and being able to share my knowledge with my students so that they can find a safe haven in theatre is an amazing feeling.

Along with performing, I am also a self-taught makeup artist and designer. I was able to serve as the lead special effects makeup designer and artist at St. David's Asylum Haunted House in 2016, and since then have been able to assist with makeup design at my university. I most recently designed the makeup for AU's production of Tartuffe, for which I received a KCACTF nomination. This past summer, I was able to act as the head makeup designer and artist for a Tik Tok ad campaign with the company One Child At a Time, an organization that seeks to educate others on the dangers of sex trafficking.
